A Long Island man lost his life in a two-vehicle collision in Uniondale on Monday, December 18, on Nassau County Police confirmed.
Thirty-five-year-old Sean Morris of Hempstead was traveling east on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard in a 2012 Hyundai. Morris was carrying two passengers, a woman and a man, according to the police; however, their identities have not been disclosed.
Morris’ Hyundai and a 31-year-old driver of a Honda Accord collided at around 2:05 p.m.
Morris’ vehicle was thrown off the road and into a tree by the power of the impact, according to the police.
Morris was declared deceased on the crash scene.
After being transported to a nearby hospital, the two Hyundai passengers received medical attention for their wounds. The two were said to be in stable condition by the authorities.
Both the driver and a passenger in the Honda Accord were unharmed and stayed at the scene.
Investigation is ongoing.
